Car Wash Products for the UK Car Scene

Meet day prep, in order
- Night before: wheels first with No.03 Wheel and Rim Cleaner, so brake dust never touches clean paint.
- Pre rinse: No.01 at 1:10 from a pump sprayer, bottom up, to soften bugs and road film. Rinse before it dries.
- Snow foam: No.02 at 1:15 in the cannon. Let it hang for a few minutes and drag the grit off the paint, then rinse top down.
- Contact wash: No.05 at 1:200, 100 ml in a 20 litre WASH bucket. High lubricity means the mitt glides instead of grinding. Rinse the mitt in the RINSE bucket after every panel.
- Dry: a 1400 GSM twisted loop drying towel, laid flat and dragged. No rubbing.
- Morning of: a quick mist of No.08 SiO2 Wax and Sealant and buff for that wet look under the lights.

What is the best way to wash a car before a car meet?
Wheels first, then pre rinse, snow foam and a two bucket contact wash, dried with a twisted loop towel. Do it the night before so you only need a quick top up in the morning.
Can I use SoapX on a wrapped or matt car?
Yes. Use the Delicate (D) formula, which is made for wraps, matt paint and coatings.
How do I stop swirl marks?
