Cost per wash is one 1 litre foam cannon bottle at the label ratio, from the 5 litre container, at the current list prices. Scents are target specifications until each formula finishes testing.

The rules the finder follows
- Matt paint or a vinyl wrap: always Delicate. These finishes cannot be polished, so the gentle option is the only option.
- Ceramic coating: Delicate for routine washes. Check what your coating maker allows before you use anything stronger.
- Winter salt and grime: Winter, on wax, sealant or bare paint.
- Months since a wash, or back from a track day: Extreme, with a shorter dwell.
- About to polish or apply fresh protection: Extreme, because a deep clean is the point.
- Everything else: Summer.

Common questions
Which snow foam should I use on a ceramic coated car?
A gentle foam for routine washes. In the SoapX range that is the Delicate formula, which is made for matt wraps and ceramic coatings. Check your coating maker's care advice before using a stronger foam.
Which snow foam is best for winter?
One made for road salt and winter grime. Our Winter formula is the pick from October to March and mixes at 1:15, the same as Summer, so you can swap between them as the season changes.
How much snow foam do I put in a 1 litre foam cannon?
At 1:15, about 65 ml of snow foam topped up to the 1 litre line with water. At 1:10, about 90 ml. Add the water first so the bottle does not foam over.
Is thicker snow foam better?
Not always. Foam as thick as shaving cream looks good, but a slightly wetter foam that runs slowly down the panel carries more dirt away with it.
Can I use snow foam without a pressure washer?
Not through a foam cannon, which needs a pressure washer to work. Without one, apply a pre rinse with a pump sprayer and rinse it off before the contact wash.
