Common questions
Why does fallout remover turn purple?
The Summer formula changes colour as it reacts with iron. The purple shows it working on embedded brake and rail dust bonded to the paint and wheels. Leave it for 2 to 4 minutes without letting it dry, then rinse thoroughly.
How do I remove tar spots from paint?
Use the Extreme formula, a solvent tar and glue remover. Apply it to a cool, clean panel out of direct sun, let it soften the tar, sap or adhesive, then wipe it away with a dedicated cloth and wash the area afterwards.
Is it safe near wraps and vinyl graphics?
Test first. Extreme is a solvent, so try it on a hidden spot before using it near vinyl graphics, wraps or curtain sides. Summer, the iron fallout remover, is for painted panels and wheels.
Do I use it before or after washing?
After. Use both formulas on clean, cool paint and wheels, out of direct sun, so the product reaches the contamination rather than the dirt on top of it.
Does it smell?
Yes. Summer is unscented but has a distinctive smell as it reacts. Extreme has a solvent smell. Always read the label and safety data sheet before use.
